I’ve heard many times that when your friend gets a man, you lose your friend. If you’re single, you lose your wing man. That one person that was down to go on a crazy adventure at the last minute. It can be a lonely time for the single BFF. You are happy for your friend; but at the same time you know your relationship has changed.
I’ve recently had trouble of my own due to my friend’s relationship. Her guy is trying to cut me out of her life. I’m not a bad influence. He’s just a total control freak and the entire situation has become uncomfortable.
What’s he doing? How do you know your girl’s man is coming in between your friendship? Here are some signs:
She take your calls when she's alone.
My friend can only call me when she's leaving work, or in the middle of the day during a lunch break. She sometimes sneaks a call in between meetings. How ridiculous that our calls are restricted! Then, of course, there are the nights when she does not spend the night at his house. On these nights we will have three to four hour calls to catch up on everything we have missed in each other’s lives. It sucks, but this is how it has to be. If this sounds familiar, you're girl's man is forbidding her from calling you. Photo Credit: Flickr.com/Faceme.
