I’ve heard many times that when your friend gets a man, you lose your friend. If you’re single, you lose your wing man. That one person that was down to go on a crazy adventure at the last minute. It can be a lonely time for the single BFF. You are happy for your friend; but at the same time you know your relationship has changed.
I’ve recently had trouble of my own due to my friend’s relationship. Her guy is trying to cut me out of her life. I’m not a bad influence. He’s just a total control freak and the entire situation has become uncomfortable.
What’s he doing? How do you know your girl’s man is coming in between your friendship? Here are some signs:
She's not there during a crisis.
Recently, I went through one of the worst times of my entire life. My BFF was unable to be there for me because her boyfriend would not allow it. He found every reason to keep her away from me. I thought perhaps we could at least text, but for days my texts remained unanswered. Oh, he now has a "no texting at his house" rule. When they are together they both turn off their phones. And she agreed to all of this! I was completely devastated as I needed my friend. That's what a BFF is for, so if your friend isn't there for you anymore it might be her man's dirty work.
