Dear lovely, beautiful, witty, fantabulous Sujeiry,
It’s Sujeiry speaking to you. Yes, this is a letter from YOU! No, you’re not in The Twilight Zone. No, this isn’t a dream. I am really here writing to you as a 37 year old!
Damn, 37 sounds old.
Let’s get back to why I am here, writing this letter to you, which is actually me. I am here to give you some tips on how to fulfill your destiny.
Professionally, you lack consistency. Yes, that consistency that you expect from others is what you lack for yourself! You definitely know how to fool folks into thinking you’re disciplined and focused. Don’t get me wrong, you are. But you haven’t been able to consistently be all those things. Instead, you dilly dally and multi-task yourself into unfinished projects. To be the successful 37-year old me (again, that’s you), BE CONSISTENT AND FINISH PROJECTS. One more note in terms of your dream career: JUST GO FOR IT! I am a radio show host NOW because at 32 I wasted no more time. Knock on doors. Send your reel. Plug yourself back into networking groups. Do not let your daily wear you out. That is not where you are supposed to be! So get of your ass and stop talking about what you’re going to do and just do it. I know you can and that you will because at 37 I (you) am living the life I (you) have always wanted.
Now my (your) love life. You’re on the right track. You’ve joined online dating sites, have met men on trains, through friends, and through networking. It will pan out. Trust me. Just don’t loose your cool and yourself in your relationship. State how you want to be treated and what you expect and you will receive that from the man who wants to take your seriously. Do not be afraid to rock the boat. I know you fear the relationship will sink if you do, but if you’re not comfortable speaking your mind and heart then you shouldnt be in that relationship. Lastly, love yourself fiercely and unconditinally. It starts with you first, which you (I) already know.
You will be fine. No, you will be better than fine. I say this with certainty because I am sitting in a radio booth about to go on air. Next to me is my cohost. Behind me is a stack of my books, autographed and ready to be shipped to fans who have purchased them in droves. On your hand sits a beautiful engagement ring/wedding band. The one you’ve always wanted. In front of you is a photograph of you and your husband, children in tow. You live an amazing life because you are focused, good, and talented. You live an amazing life because you deserve it.
