We are well on our way to making our personal new years the very best. Now that you’ve written a letter and said goodbye and thank you to your previous age (for me that was 33), we can focus on our present age and what we can accomplish. But first a little reflection on the Dear (33) Exercise.
Writing a letter to 33 was much easier for me than years past. It’s because I am now coming from A Place of Yes, as Bethenny Frankel would say. I am sure of who I am. For the first time in years, I am certain that I have a destiny. I know I will be a successful NY Times Best Selling Author (Love Trips is well on it’s way!). I know I will be on television, hosting my very own relationship show. I know I will be wealthy, both emotionally and physically (counting the millions as I type!). What better way to start 34 (my personal new year)?
NOW, lets get to exercise 2 of the (34) at (34) Challenge!
Write a list of all the things you want to accomplish. Don’t be shy or hesitant. Don’t underestimate yourself or your talents. Just write it down. Write it in your journal, if you want to keep it secret, or write it as a blog post. I will be writing my list in my journal. As much as I believe in sharing my journey with others, I also believe in el mal de ojo, or the evil eye. Some people don’t wish us well, even if it’s unintentional. Some people give us bad joojoo because they envy our success and triumphs. I don’t believe in haters. I’ve said this time and time again. But I do believe the “I wish I had that” and “why not me?” mentality creates negative energy. So, I will be writing my list down just for me. Maybe you should do the same!
Come back next week on Monday when I will share some of my goals and the power of list making. I have a personal experience I want to share that proves our dreams come true when we write them down.
What did you accomplish in your last year of birth? Did you write a letter to your former year? Please share below and remember to join the (34) at (34) Challenge where we help accomplish goals within our current personal new year. Come back on Monday for the new post!
