When I envision my wedding (no, I’m not married yet!) I see turquoise water, white sand and clear skies. That’s a beach wedding for those that hadn’t guessed. Sometimes, though, I do flip flop and wonder if I’m better suited for a city wedding with picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline. Or maybe a traditional wedding at my home church now that I’ve committed myself to God. I blame Pinterest for my indecision – and for every other DIY wedding project I intend to do.
One thing is for sure: I refuse to go anywhere near a rooftop. A scardy cat of heights (the ground and I are longtime BFFs) I’d have heart palpitations while saying “I do.” If I even make it to the altar.
Not this fearless couple. Justin Brittingham and Heather Bagley of Las Vegas, NV, tied the knot on August 1, 2018 at the stroke of midnight and became the first couple to get married atop the High Roller, the world’s largest observation wheel at The LINQ Promenade. All I can say is…
Apparently, The High Roller has become a desired wedding destination as they have more weddings planned due to a Facebook contest they conducted this summer. Over 25 engaged couples entered for a a chance to win this complimentary High Roller wedding. The winners, including Justin Brittingham and Heather Bagley, received an officiant, flowers, and a wedding gown and makeup session for the bride, as well as a fully decorated and decked out High Roller cabin.
Sounds nice enough, but I’ll still pass. Unless The High Roller is more of an On the Pavement Roller, I…just…can’t.
