Whether married for 2 years or 10, relationships should still be exciting. Comfortability can sometimes cramp our style (there’s nothing sexy about farting in the AM) as does responsibility, but some couples know how to keep the spark in a relationship.
Case in point is Lucy Matthews, who surprised her husband at the airpot on the morning of their 14th wedding anniversary. She took her wedding gown out of storage and wore the gown to pick up her husband, Derek, as he returned home from a business trip. Lucy also held a sign in her hand that she created herself, reading: “Derek, I’d do it all over again. I love you.”

This is what it’s about. Surprising one another after 14 year of marriage is one way to keep the spark and maintain an exciting relationship, even when exhausted from work or cleaning up baby poop. It doesn’t have to be a daily occurrence. But it’s important to celebrate moments that define and strengthen your relationship.
Tell me, what have you done to keep the spark alive in your relationship?
