There’s an epidemic happening across the nation. The hunt is on to find that special gem that seems oh-so-hard to find — a man! Some women have searched high and low to find their match. However, studies are revealing that the ratio of women to men in certain regions is making it that much harder to meet “The One”.
In many states there are way more single women than there are men. Some women feel the need to compete with each other for the attention of men who come few and far between. The claws are out and cattiness has reached an all time high.
Cities like Atlanta, LA, and New York are home to women who are living the single life. Here are the top five cities with the most eligible women and a high female to male ratio, according to MensHealth.com:
5) New York, NY
4) Seattle, WA
3) Boston, MA
2) Portland, ME
1) Washington, DC
Most of these cities are home to women outnumbering men by more than 40,000. Of course this causes some men to have a field day when dating. Imagine living in a city where you can interchange women often as you change underwear. The men in these top five cities have a plethora of options to choose from.
So, what is a single woman to do? I’m here to tell you not to get discouraged. Even if you live in one of the cities listed above there is someone out there for everyone. If you feel like you just aren’t meeting any men, switch up your hangout spots. Explore new areas of your city. Try online dating. If things are looking dire, maybe it’s time to move to the Midwest, which is where most married couples reside. No matter what you decide to do remember to be patient. Eventually you will be with “The One.”
