Valentine’s Day isn’t just for lovers. In fact, plenty of singles loathe Cupid, his chubby cheeks, his arrow, and all it represents! Some even need a guide to survive Valentine’s Day. But what if you are single but still want to enjoy February 14th? Would you rather wallow in your single status or join other singles across America to celebrate your hate for Valentine’s Day with booze and fun?
I scoured the Internet to find the top anti-Valentine’s Day events in major cities. Let’s start with the Big Apple.

Los Angeles Anti-Valentine’s Day Events
761 N. San Fernando Blvd. Burbank, CA 91502
Los Angeles may just be the best anti-Valentine’s Day city. LA Weekly has a top ten list of thing sto do in L.A if you want to kick Cupid in the ass. My favorite has to be the kickboxing class at Crunch where you can tape a photo of your ex on the bag. Brilliant and such a stress reliever! Class is free for members and non-members; space is limited.
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art
Feb 14th; 7:30pm

Another favorite adds a little culture to your Valentine’s Day. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is opening it’s doors to angry singles and guiding them on a tour entitled Love Hurts. The works of art depict heartbreak, jealousy, affairs – all the things we loathe about love! You can even eat a full course meal afterward. Tour begins at 7:30; dinner at 8 p.m. $50 for members; $60 general admission.
