They say that heartbreak can kill you. I say the first breakup didn’t put you into a grave, and neither will the next. No matter how much you loved (or love) your former significant other, or what caused your relationship to end, (cue Gloria Gaynor) you will survive!
Science is also on my side. According to a study, people who have been through a divorce are just as healthy as couples who are happily together. As a matter of fact, most of the divorced people in this study moved on and began new relationships. Some even remarried.
This is a perfect example of the power of the human spirit: we are resilient. We bounce back. It may not feel like that when you are in the trenches of heartbreak, but (cue that track again) you will survive!

Drinking is a depressant which only means one thing – you will drunk dial after a breakup! If you spend your first nights trying to forget about your ex-love by making love to a bottle, the bottle will soon be replaced with a cell phone. And slurring is so not sexy.
