We take on so much in life. With school, family, work and love, balance can be tough to come by. Still, having a full schedule isn’t an excuse to forget about you, or your man. Read on and I will show you how!
Be organized. I don’t mean to keep everything neat and tidy. You just need to have a schedule. This way you can plan out your week and make accommodations when needed. A schedule will also avoid conflicts as you can see how much free time you have available.
Factor in the essentials. That includes sleeping, work and exercise. (You shouldn’t mess with your sleep or work.) Once you know how much time you spend on these must-do’s add your man into your schedule. Sounds boring, I know, but I promise it helps! You can also spice it up by working out together, and of course, sleeping (ahum) together. Reward yourselves with ice cream after all that sweating.
Work on the little things. Talk on the phone. Go out for an hour or two instead of spending all evening together. This can really take the edge off of your hectic lifestyle. These little things also let him know you make time for him and your relationship.
Collaborate. If you find your schedule excruciatingly hectic and need time, let your man know. He’s probably caught onto your busy schedule, and hopefully he understands. You can also work out a schedule together. Teamwork does make the dream work.
