And I am going.
For the first time, I will be attending the #LATISM Conference and I am so excited and grateful for all that I’ll learn, all the knowledge that I’ll gain and pour into my brand of Latina relationship expert, author, and media personality.
I began my career in early 2006 as an online relationship columnist. Without any experience in business, marketing, or social media (Twitter wasn’t even around back then), I was unsure of how to promote my work and build a business. I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but how? I knew I wanted to work with Latinas, but how would I successfully reach these consumers?
I’m working toward this and have had success, but still don’t have all the answers. Fortunately, with the help of the #LATISM Conference in Houston, TX, I can get there.
The following panels excite me, which is why I will be front and center.
- Understanding the New Hispanic Consumer: You’d think because I’m Dominican that I wouldn’t need to attend this panel, but that’s false! The Hispanic consumer is changing. Latina women are my target audience and I need to sharpen my skills so I can not only reach new generations but also engage them so they become loyal consumers. This panel will key in on practices that will help us create effective strategies to reach Hispanics.
- The Latino Entrepreneur: Key Topics You Need to Know to Succeed: I’m excited for this. How can I not be? The panel will discuss how to access working capital, proper technology, legal advice, and create marketing campaigns that work, which means results!
There are so many more workshops providing great information. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of this conference? Below are the whens and hows. Join me, won’t you?
Cause, Pepitas, I am GOING.
