There’s always a good excuse to visit Paris. Few European capitals can be three things at the same time: romantic, mysterious and fun. From the bohemian Montmartre to the terrifying Catacombes in the south of the city, Paris offers visitors history, magical legends and of course a high dose of passion.
Visiting the French capital at Halloween can be an amazing experience for you and your partner, or your new date. Although Halloween isn’t part of France’s culture and the celebration is much smaller than in the States, it is still a charming and special experience.
Cemetery of Père-Lachaise
Paris hides lots of stories around its numerous cemeteries based in the center of the city. Père-Lachaise is the largest in the city and one of the most famous cemeteries in Europe. Walking along the graves can be a good way to spend a Halloween evening as well as a good chance to impress your date while talking about the French culture. Find out which celebrities were buried there and travel together into the past. Remember you are very close to La Belleville, the area where the French singer Edith Piaf was born and whose grave you´ll be able to visit at Père-Lachaise. Photo Credit: Flickr Creative Commons.
