Stalker Status: I Just Called 65,000 Times To Say…
I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with a stalker. I’m a gorgeous, intelligent, savvy and hilarious creative woman, so, being stalked comes with the territory. Still, his daily multiple blocked calls which came with heavy breathing and abrupt hang ups became unbearable.
Mess with my sleep and you’re messing with my heart.
A 62-year old Dutch man feels the same as he took legal action against the 42-year-old Dutch woman who called him 65,000 times in the past year.
When calculated, that’s 1,250 times a week, 178 times a day or once every eight minutes…if she weren’t sleeping.
Much like my stalker, the stalkee in this scenario did not have a relationship with his stalker. Unlike my stalker, he had this crazy lady was arrested! Police seized several cell phones and computers from her home in Rotterdam. Her excuse for her obsessive behavior? They were in a relationship and she didn’t think the number of times she called was excessive.
Not excessive?! I should stalk her back so she knows how it feels!
So, ladies and gentleman, let us learn from the mistake of stalkers. No means no. If someone does not call you back, lets say, after 5 calls, they don’t want to speak to you. Same with texts and emails and Facebook messages and Direct Messages on Twitter.
One last thing. Don’t mess with my sleep or, next time, I’ll have you arrested.
