When I was younger I liked guys so much I went to great lengths to get their attention. I didn’t realize that my attempts to court them were often a bit creepy.
One time I found out this dude had a sweet tooth and so I made him a gift bag (complete with tissue paper) filled with candy. I then conveniently “bumped” into him and handed him the surprise present. The look in his eyes was not one I expected – he was totally mortified! But I didn’t stop there. For Christmas, I searched all over town for “Deadpool” – his favorite comic book action figure. Yet again, I wrapped this little, lovable token of affection in tissue paper.
These were both fabulous ideas, said no one ever! I’ve learned that less is more when you like a guy. Here are other things not to do when trying to get his attention.
Tokens of Affection
It's one thing to find out your crush loves pepperoni slices, and you offer him some of yours because you carry it as a power snack. It's another thing to go to an Italian market, buy a stick of pepperoni, stuff it in a beautiful box and attach a note that says, "Thinking of you!" Whoa, can we say weird! And very unnecessary.
